Local Sherpas bargain with lowland people who have carried big loads for several days to the weekly Saturday market in Namche Bazaar, the leading Sherpa town of Nepal's Himalaya. Although most Sherpas are Tibetan Buddhists and most lowlander are Hindu, this is not a source of conflict.
