A modern Mongolian visitor makes a cell phone call from the Temple of the Yadam at Choijin Lama Temple, a rare, remaining Tibetan Buddhist sanctuary in Ulaanbaator. During the country's Soviet occupation, religion was discouraged and thousands of monks and lamas were executed. The religion is making a resurgence after independence.
