Batyoi, a 35-year-old shaman living in Tsagaan Noor in the northern Darhad Valley, a small town under the Horidal Saridag Mountains in northern Mongolia. He treats a variety of spiritual maladies caused by offenses against natural spirits, either by going into a trance or with natural herbs.
